The 2022 ACOS Annual Safety Coordination Meeting in New York City was attended by 122 individuals and 68 organizations from 23 countries who came together in October, in New York City for creative and candid conversations about journalist safety.
Our summary report, published today, highlights the key recommendations and next steps agreed at this year’s meeting, with a focus on freelance, local and under-resourced journalists. It also provides an overview of the discussions and training that took place and the new projects and innovations that were presented by ACOS signatories and partners.
